Cheese Mango Ice Cream

Cheese Mango Ice Cream recipe:


Ingredients:


*Mango Puree:*


- 2 ripe mangos, diced

- 1 tablespoon honey

- 1 tablespoon lime juice


*Cheese Ice Cream Base:*


- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1/2 cup whole milk

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Pinch of salt


*Assembly and Churning:*


1. Make mango puree: Blend mango, honey, and lime juice until smooth.

2. Make cheese ice cream base: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Mix until combined.

3. Combine mango puree and cheese ice cream base.

4. Chill mixture in refrigerator for 2 hours.

5. Churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions.

6. Freeze for 2 hours before serving.


*No Ice Cream Maker?*


1. Pour mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish.

2. Freeze for 2 hours.

3. Blend mixture in a blender or food processor.

4. Freeze again until set.


*Tips and Variations:*


- Use ripe, sweet mangos for best flavor.

- Add a pinch of cardamom or cinnamon for extra depth.

- Substitute cream cheese with mascarpone or ricotta.

- Mix in chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or candy pieces.
