Ingredients:
+ 3 1/2 cup (438g) All Purpose flour
+ 1/4 cup(40g) cornstarch
+ 1 tbsp. (13.8g) baking powder
+ 1/4tsp. (1.5g) salt
+ 1 cup(250mL) evaporated milk
+ 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
+ 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
+ 3/4 cup( 150g) white sugar
+ vegetable oilto fry
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, mix the dry ingredients together: all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, and baking powder. Mix until combined, and set it aside.
2. In a separate mixing bowl, mix all the wet ingredients together: the evaporated milk, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, egg, and white granulated sugar.
3. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients.. Mix it together using Kitchen Aid, or you can also mix the ingredients manually and then knead them until you get the consistency that you need.
4. When you get the consistency that you need, shape the dough into a ball, then coat it in the sesame seeds right away to make sure the seeds stick to the dough.
5. In a hot pan filled with oil, fry the binangkal on medium heat. Fry the binangkal in butter so it doesn't become too crowded inside the pan. Fry the binangkal until golden brown on all sides.
6. When the binangkal is cooked, place it in a strainer to drain the excess oil. Then place it on a plate. Serve it nice and hot. Enjoy!!!
Note: When you shape the dough into a ball, coat it in the sesame seeds right away to make sure the seeds stick to the dough.
