Ingredients
+ Spaghetti noodles
+ 1 jar(24 oz or 2 1/2 cup) Prego spaghetti sauce or any pasta sauce of your choice
+ 1 small yellow diced onion
+ 3 cloves minced garlic
+ water to boil the pasta noodles
Instructions
Sauce:
1. In a preheated pan, melt a tbsp. of butter and sauté the onion until it's caramelized.
2. When the onion is caramelized, add the minced garlic and sauté until it's golden brown.
3. Pour in your spaghetti sauce of choice and stir for five minutes. And remove it from the heat.
Spaghetti Noodles:
1. Fill a pot with 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
2. Add the salt, followed by the dried pasta.
3. Stir until the water returns to a boil.
4. When the noodles are cooked, drain the excess water using a colander.
Note: Keep the cooked noodles and the spaghetti sauce separate. Spaghetti noodles can last up to five days when kept in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
