"This egg and bacon sandwich is quick, simple, and easy to make for breakfast. It's made of toasted buttered bread, an egg, bacon, cheese, and cabbage. This is one of my favorite quick breakfasts. I hope you like it as much as we enjoyed it."
Yield: 4 Servings
Prep. Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Total time: 15 Minutes
Cuisine: Asian/Korean
Category: Breakfast
Ingredients:
+ 8 strips of bacon
+ 4 Large egg
+ shredded cheddar cheese
+ 1 cup shredded cabbage
+ 3 tbsp. ketchup( or sauce of your choice)
+ 2 tbsp. mustard
+ 8 pcs. of slice bread
Instructions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon until golden brown on both sides. When the bacon is cooked, set it aside. You can use a paper towel to drain the excess oil.
2. Using the same skillet, cook the eggs and add some shredded cheese on top. Cover the eggs until the cheese is melted.
3. When the cheese is melted, you can add some vegetables, like shredded cabbage or any vegetables of your choice, then cover and cook for another minute. Then add the cooked bacon on top of the vegetables and remove from the heat.
4. Toast the bread using a toaster, or you can also toast the bread in a preheated skillet with some melted butter and toast it until it's golden brown on all sides.
5. To assemble the sandwich:
+ toasted bread
+ sauce of choice ( I used ketchup & mustard)
+ cooked egg, bacon, cheese, & cabbage
+ toasted bread
6. Serve nice and hot. Enjoy!!!
Note: If you don't have a toaster at home, you can also toast the bread in a preheated skillet with some melted butter and toast it until it's golden brown on all sides.
