Ingredients:
+ 4 hot dogs
+ 1 can of chili
+ 1 medium diced white/yellow onion
+ 1 cup cheddar jack cheese (or cheese of choice)
+ 4 hot dog buns
Instructions:
1. Set the grill for 350 degrees F. 2. Smoke the hot dogs for 5 minutes on each side. ( Or check the hot dogs to see if they are safe to eat using a thermometer.) Transfer it onto a plate when it's cooked. 3. Toast the hot dog buns using a toaster. (Or toast the buns in a preheated skillet with a tbsp. of melted butter.) 4. Dice the onion. 5. Assemble the chili dog.
+ 1 toasted hot dog bun
+ 1 smoked hot dog
+ 2-3 tbsp. of chili ( hot)
+ 2 tbsp. diced onion
+ 1/4 cup shredded cheddar jack cheese
6. Microwave for 1 minute to melt the cheese.
7. Serve nice and hot. Enjoy!!
Note: You don't need to use a chilli in a can if you prefer a fresh homemade chili.
